PAWS release new album, support We Are Scientists at The Independent tonight

Glasgow pop-punk trio PAWS have just released their sophomore album Youth Culture Forever yesterday, May 6, via FatCat Records. The boys are currently touring with We Are Scientists, and will open for the New York-via-Berkeley dance-rock duo at The Independent tonight. The Bay Bridged’s own Roman Gokhman recently caught up with We Are Scientists to discuss their new album and latest sci-fi adventures.

PAWS is guitarist Philip Taylor, bassist Ryan Drever, and drummer Josh Swinney. If you missed their wild San Francisco debut at last November’s Professional Fans curated showcase at Cafe Du Nord, tonight’s double bill is a great opportunity to catch the UK rockers in action and hopefully pick up some of their unique cat-themed merch.
