It’s always a good thing seeing local bands working together, helping to promote not only their own careers, but also those of fellow members of the music community. Well, we have yet another example of one Bay Area artist scratching another’s back, and this one’s a beauty.

Local faves Geographer took time out from their month-long US tour to remix WATERS‘ track “Got To My Head”, the first single off the latter band’s upcoming sophomore LP, which we told you told you about back in February. The remix takes the driving rock anthem and wraps it in a warm blanket of fuzzed out synths, for what I Heart Moosiq called a “dynamic new percolating rendition” that’s “a little Passion Pit-esque.” Enjoy.
