Having just wrapped up some shows in Australia, former Drive-By Trucker Jason Isbell is back in the States and brings the raw sound he found on his highly-acclaimed (and rather excellent) 2013 album Southeastern to not one but two nights at our own Fillmore this Tuesday and Wednesday.
Southeastern has been seen as the album where Jason Isbell finally grew up, a mature album coming from his personal battle with sobriety and covering topics such as cancer and loneliness. His appearances on the WTF with Marc Maron podcast and NPR’s Fresh Air only further cemented the impact of his work and the kind nature of an artist that isn’t as easy to come by these days.
The first night is sold out but you still have a chance to get tickets to the Wednesday show, and we have an opportunity for one lucky winner to score two tickets to that second night if you follow the instructions below.
To enter for a chance to win tickets to see Jason Isbell at The Fillmore, email daniel.kielman@thebaybridged.com with “Jason Isbell” in the subject line and your full name in the body of the email. A winner will be selected at random and notified via email.
