FF Show

Seattle’s FF is coming to town April 26 at Thee Parkside with local bands Wild Moth, Mane and Commodity in tow. The Northwestern group is sure to deliver pummeling noise punk, ripe with comparisons to Daydream Nation-era Sonic Youth. Be sure to listen to the track, “Caught in a Dream”. The band rips its way through the nearly three-minute track, with a perfect amount of distortion, melody, and restlessness.

But back to what The Bay Bridged is all about: Local music. Post-punk band Wild Moth is headlining the show. Last year, the band’s album – Over, Again – on Asian Man Records was met with great reception. For those looking to get down with music under the influence of ’80s goth and post-punk, look no further – San Francisco’s Mane is playing. And for those that may still be mourning the loss of Permanent Collection, Commodity (a band with members of the late group), will be opening.
