Simon Joyner and Wooden Wand are setting off on a living room tour.  On May 7th, they will perform in Berkeley, and on May 8th they’ll be in Oakland.  Tickets are extremely limited.  At the time of writing, there were only 18 tickets left for Berkeley and 69 tickets for Oakland.  Buy them HERE!

Omaha’s Simon Joyner has been cranking out tunes for more than 20 years, but remains pleasantly under the radar despite the accolades of Conor Oberst and Beck.  In 2012, Simon released the delicious, Kickstarter-funded, double album Ghosts.  Have a taste below, but buy the vinyl from Simon!

Wooden Wand’s James Toth has moved from New York to Tennessee and Kentucky, perfecting a storytelling songwriting that has been rightly compared to Dylan.  His self-described “bad luck record,” 2008’s Waiting in Vain, was produced at SF’s Tiny Telephone and featured Nels Cline plus members of Deerhoof and Vetiver.  Somehow it bombed.  Check out the excellent and very-Dylan demos released last year.
