Ghoul - hang ten cover

Ghoul, everybody’s favorite band from Creepsylvania (AKA: The greater Bay Area) has returned in the nick of time to release a 10″ EP called Hang Ten on Oakland label Tankcrimes.

The Record Store Day release features cover art by Sean Aaberg of Pork Magazine and starts where the band’s 2011 LP, Transmission Zero, ended. As a largely instrumental release playing with elements of surf rock and metal that the band has been known to dabble in occasionally, Hang Ten tells the story of two fierce biker gangs battling it out. As per Record Store Day tradition, the release will be coming in two different colors of vinyl, blue and multi-colored red marble.

Word has it that you may be able to pick up a copy of Hang Ten when Ghoul headlines day 1 of Tankcrimes Brainsqueeze 2 in Oakland April 18!
