Dylan Shearer - garragearray

Two like-minded Bay Area record labels, Castle Face and Empty Cellar, are teaming up to release psych rocker Dylan Shearer’s new album garagearray. The record is Shearer’s third LP.

The album’s debut track “meadow mines (fort polio)” was featured on NPR’s All Songs Considered, introducing garagearray as a landscape of Shearer’s distinct, tender tones of psych pop. “mold in the fold” continues on the path of garagearray, touching on unmistakably 60s-influenced psych. The San Francisco singer-songwriter was joined by Petey Dammit (of Thee Oh Sees) as well as local noise rock master Noel von Harmonson. Eric Bauer (Ty Segall, Mikal Cronin) produced the album, due out on April 22nd.
