Fresh off a trip to South by Southwest, San Francisco’s Cocktails just released “Tough Love”, the first single from their debut LP Adult Life, which is out June 17 on Father Daughter. Like their previous vinyl releases, Adult Life was recorded at Oakland’s Fuzz City with Warm Soda’s Rob Good, and it appears this release will also contain plenty of distinctly crisp drums and insanely catchy hooks. Not only has Cocktails continued to pump out the hits, they’ve become a much tighter band over the last year, adding guitarist Joel Cusumano of DSTVV fame to shred some slick solos while frontman Patrick Clos sweats his ass off. Coincidentally, Cocktails is performing at The She’s EP release party at Rickshaw Friday night as part of an extremely rad lineup.
