The Sam Chase recently took a break from his usual “kick-ass folk” when he recorded a video of an intimate solo performance of a new track in his San Francisco living room. The song, “I’ve Got Problems”, is an introspective look at his approach to encountering the everyday problems that he shares with the rest of mankind. Without The Functional Alcoholics – his normal backing band – Chase’s stripped down playing provides a unique opportunity for Bay Area music fans to hear one of the region’s burgeoning talents in a raw, unplugged setting.
