Reigning from San Francisco, Silver Shadows is an all-girl band that tends to fall into the darker side of things. The synth-drenched darkwave act draws from elements of post-punk, surf rock and ’80s goth.
Luckily enough, Silver Shadows will be playing one last show at El Rio on March 30 before they embark on a mini-tour. Joining them for the dive bar show will be melodic punk act Generation Loss and spooky surf band Michael & the Strange Land.
In the meantime, take the track “The Fall” by Silver Shadows into consideration. With vocal breakdowns similar to Siouxsie & The Banshees and guitar work well within the likes of early Christian Death, it’s a dreamy track worthy of anyone’s darkwave playlist.
