Evil Eyes - "Keep Your Mind On Me"

San Franciscans Evil Eyes just dropped their newest video for “Keep Your Mind On Me” off of their debut full-length Borderlines. Directed by Joe Lumbroso, the video focuses on the band as bewildered travelers looking for their love who has been plucked away by a cardboard claw.  Along the way they’re tempted by siren space babes in cone bras, scoot from planet to planet in jet packs, and ride in cut-out submarines and hot air balloons while stop-motion comets slam together. Eventually they make it home to their lady in a log cabin, but (spoiler) she’s already been charmed senseless by a monster made of eyes. Based off of the work of Michel Gondry and Wes Anderson, the Science of Sleep-inspired set was constructed entirely out of recycled materials or found art with local artist Eric Otto designing all of the miniatures.

With a band member out with a busted hand that occurred during a freak accident making lemonade, no shows are on the cosmos’ horizon quite yet, but Evil Eyes expect to perform in spring/summer.
