San Francisco’s (almost) all-female David Bowie tribute band, Lady Stardust, has sadly announced their final performance at Thee Parkside on April 3.

Frontwoman Laurel Butler is moving away from the Bay Area, and as a final salute the band will be performing the Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars in its entirety.

Other performances include Bones of a Feather, a soul power tribute group that has been known on occasion to perform Alanis Morissettes’ “You Outta Know.” Remaining true to a night of all covers, the opener includes Purple Heart, an all Prince/Heart cover band. Fingers crossed for a rendition of Prince’s classic and undeniably sassy “Kiss.”
