While both of The War On Drugs‘ shows at The Independent next week are sold-out, there’s still hope for your Tuesday night. The band is touring in support of full-length Lost in the Dream that was just released last week on Secretly Canadian. Originally conceptualized and conceived by folk-rock masterminds Adam Granduciel and Kurt Vile (who amicably left after debut LP Wagonwheel Blues was released), The War On Drugs and supporting act White Laces can be your reprieve from the city’s early spring chill.
