On your floor. Under your bed. In your closet. All places you’d expect to find coathangers, and that you might expect, after a long night, to find The Coathangers.

The Coathangers, riding on this week’s release of their fourth LP, Suck My Shirt, will be spending the night in San Francisco next Monday. Oozing with a gleeful grit, The Coathangers sound like sticky floors, surly bartenders, and spitfire attitude.

With the band fresh off a stint at SXSW, the San Francisco date comes as part of a spring tour with fellow Atlantans Black Lips. Not bad for a band born out of a house show.
