Hot on the heels of January’s “Human Being”, Nevada City’s Angelica Rockne has released a new song, “Soon”, off her upcoming EP, What Will I Dream. With the squeak of fingertips on steel strings taking front and center, “Soon” is a strong reference to Rockne’s ties to Gold Country: a gentle, but no less affecting, ballad.

Rockne’s EP will come later this year, and she plans to hit the studio for production on a full-length in the summer. For now, she’s got a show lined up with San Jose’s equally cozy Witchdream Mansion and A Million Creatures at Awaken Cafe this Friday.
