One of my favorite locals and one of the many highlights of Phono Del Sol 2013, Ms. Kristine Flaherty (better known as K.Flay), is swinging through San Francisco next week as part of a two-week-long tour of the West Coast. Joining her on Sunday, March 23 at Bottom of the Hill will be Air Dubai and iTCH.
Following a single release on RCA last summer (her excellent What If It Is EP), she’s back in the world of the independents and “taking control of her music again,” according to her publicist. Flaherty’s first steps away from the major label life have been remixes of a handful of tracks, including Little Daylight‘s “Overdose” and Junior Prom‘s “Sheila Put The Knife Down”, both of which you can stream and download (for FREE!) below. After you listen to the two new tracks, check the full details and the show poster for K.Flay’s Bottom of the Hill gig.
