The Y Axes just released a polished-up version of their EP, Moon Rock, and they want you, reader of The Bay Bridged, to hear it first.
Comprised of new album versions of previously-released songs, Moon Rock 2.0 sounds shiny and new. They’ve also released a remix of “Neon Street”, with a new song, “Phaser” as a B-side.
The Y Axes, by their own admission, are not the future of pop music — they are pop music from the future. To celebrate the arrival of Moon Rock 2.0, they’ll be throwing a release show at Milk Bar on Wednesday with The Cuss, Chaos of Birds, and Sean McArdle. It’s free with an online RSVP. You should go.
