Pale Blue Dot

Attention Earthlings, we have intercepted a very important video conference between Oakland trio Pale Blue Dot and a cool pug from the far reaches of outer space. To be less nerdy about it, Pale Blue Dot has released a brand new music video for the title track off their latest instrumental EP, Voyage. As you’ve probably guessed, the video spoofs sci-fi space travel tropes, complete with costumed cameos from Bay Area allies and even Carl Sagan himself. The video is directed by Sean Wells and Charles Choo. It’s a lot of fun, and definitely worth five minutes (even if you aren’t nerdy as hell).

Pale Blue Dot is the spacey synth-rock project of Adam Myatt, Jon Latimer, and Andrew Macy. They are performing on Earth tonight during a Noise Pop gig at The New Parish in Oakland with El Ten Eleven. As previously announced, you can purchase the Voyage EP from Bandcamp as a Cassette Tape Transmission or as a digital album.
