Now in its third year, Burgerama has become a staple of Orange County label Burger Records. Thanks to the addition of Burger Boogaloo in Oakland as of last year, we no longer need to travel down to the southern depths to get a good dose of garage rock on a sunny weekend. The little sister festival will take place on July 5th and 6th at Mosswood Park Amphitheater in Oakland.
This year’s Burger Boogaloo has been announced and tickets are now on sale. The lineup packs a heavy punch, boasting 70’s cult rockers Milk n’ Cookies as the day one headliner, performing their first West Coast show since reuniting in 2005. Rock & Roll Hall of Fame member Ronnie Spector (yes, the one from The Ronettes) is the headliner of day two.
Some of the best local garage rockers are booked to support, including Shannon & The Clams, NOBUNNY, Pookie & The Poodlez, Bananas, Terry Malts, Danny James, and more.
The list of out-of-towners features Juan Wauters, Chad & The Meatbodies, Summer Twins, White Fang, and plenty of other great bands.
