Psych trio Radio Moscow has just announced the release of their fourth studio album, Magical Dirt this May via Naturalsound Records. Coming a long way since their 2007 Dan Auerbach-produced self-titled debut, Radio Moscow’s most recent release, 2011’s The Great Escape of Leslie Magnafuzz (Alive Records) blares fuzzy blue psychedelia that doesn’t feel derivative.

Grungy blues bands seem to be everywhere these days—so it takes an exceptional set of skills and plucky versatility to warrant attention. The psychedelic kick gives Radio Moscow’s wild ubiquity an edge—and it demands a listen.
