Friday night: Magik*Magik celebrates five years with "When We Were Young"

This Friday, the Magik*Magik Orchestra will be celebrating five years of all around awesomeness with “When We Were Young,” a three-act concert where the orchestra will be joined on stage by past collaborators like Geographer and John Vanderslice, as well as a thirty piece choir. One can expect the thoughtful musicianship that has accompanied Magik Magik through their past studio and live performances, and given the unbelievable lineup of guests on deck — Nicki Bluhm & the Gramblers, The Dodos, Zoe Keating, How to Dress Well, Rogue Wave, and Two Gallants among them — it’s sure to be a truly special and stellar event. Before the show, revisit a couple of the orchestra’s highlights, including The Dodos’ “The Ocean” and How to Dress Well’s “Cold Nites.”
