Pop-folk-R&B-multi-genre extraordinaire Dent May will be headlining a (((folkYEAH!))) show this Friday, January 24 at Slim’s. Touring after the release of his most recent album, Warm Blanket, groovy Dent May will be playing with psychedelic singer-songwriter Chris Cohen, and Rocky Horror-inspired psych-rock group, Jack Name. All bands playing have a way of changing up traditional psychedelic genre tropes — either combining them with acoustic, mellow sounds, or bringing out their full flare with tons of synths and reverbed vocals.
