Atlanta’s The Wild will swing through town this week with stops in both Oakland and Santa Cruz. Though the band proudly reps Atlanta as their home turf, The Wild, who are currently releasing records under the South Bay’s Asian Man label, can boast two San Francisco residents in their lineup: Witt Wisebram and Diana Settles. The band is touring in support of 2013’s Dreams Are Maps, which was produced by Against Me’s Laura Jane Grace.
In keeping with Asian Man conventions, the band displays strong pop-punk roots, bolstered by folk elements like harmonicas and banjos. They’ll be joined by You Blew It! and The Front Bottoms.
