Since releasing their debut LP, The Dark Dream, last July, Bonnie & the BANG BANG has been spreading their Western brand of rock and roll, woven seamlessly with threads of folk, jazz and classic pop sounds, around the West Coast from a winery in Sonoma to San Jose and some of the finest music houses in San Francisco. Maintaining their forward momentum, the band is starting off 2014 strong with a month-long residency at Haight Street’s Milk Bar that kicks off tonight with a guitar-driven lineup of Strange Vine, Down and Outlaws and WAG.
If you can’t make it, don’t sweat it! Bonnie will be returning to the Haight street staple every Wednesday along with some heavy Bay Area players like Guy Fox, Mr.Elevator & The Brain Hotel, Down Dirty Shake and Sam Chase. Each show is FREE with an RSVP and sponsored by Sailor Jerry (drink deals!!!), so if you’re looking for some loud tunes and cheap drinks to ease the mid-week blues, head to the Facebook event page for the RSVP link to each night and start your weekend early all month long.
