The Blank Tapes from Southern California are returning to the city on Wednesday, December 18, as part of a short series of Holidaze shows that kicked off on the 14th at The Echo in Los Angeles. The three-piece outfit has been keeping busy all year–spending a total of about six months on the road in promotion of Vacation, and making its late night television debut on NBC’s Last Call with Carson Daly just last month–and they plan to finish 2013 off strong with one final visit to The Chapel. The band will be warming up the Valencia Street music house with their summery garage pop tunes, as well as a brand new original Christmas song called “No Gifts This Xmas.”
Joining The Tapes will be a solid San Francisco-based lineup of the psychedelic-flavored rock band The Spiral Electric, the jangly rock and rollers of The Electric Magpie and the acoustic folk pop group Assateague. Email us for a chance to win a pair of tickets to the party!
