Sleepy Sun

We’re big fans of Sleepy Sun here at the Bay Bridged – this is not news. In fact, we like them so much that we booked them to perform at the very first Bay Brewed, back in 2011. Earlier this week, we mentioned that Sleepy Sun very recently released a new self-titled 7″, out now via Dine Alone Records, featuring A-side “11:32.” Today, we’re proud to premiere the 7″ B-side, a powerful, driving tune called “The Lane.” Check it out here and now:

Matt Holliman from Sleepy Sun describes “The Lane” as follows:

The Lane was conceived several years ago in a dodgy Tenderloin practice space. It later meandered through the desolate sex districts of Hamburg, and was finally birthed via Dr. Timothy Green in Grass Valley, CA. 11:32 is The Lane’s fraternal twin, although they turned in separate family trees in the 1st Grade.

As previously mentioned, Sleepy Sun will be celebrating the release of their new 7″ tonight at Brick & Mortar. This should be a fantastic hometown show for the San Francisco band, and an opportunity for those in attendance to help Sleepy Sun successfully kick off their full tour.
