San Francisco’s The Y Axes have debuted “Nothing With You”, the first single off their upcoming full-length, Sunglasses & Solar Flares, to be released later this year.

For the uninitiated, The Y Axes are “pop music from the future.” Formed in 2011, they’ve slowly built their sound into a layered, gleaming orchestra of slightly spacey sounds. “Nothing With You” is a little bit of a new frontier for the band, but it’s not entirely unexplored: more polished than previous work, but still danceable as ever.
