The Depot has been rounding up some rad lineups as of late, and the next installment is no exception — baroque pop composer Jacco Gardner is bringing his psychedelic rock and roll tunes to the San Francisco State staple Thursday, October 3rd, along with local outfits Black Cobra Vipers and Talk of Shamans, as well as the New York’s own jangle pop act Free Time. Its super free and super early, so skip out on happy hour and head south to SF State. Don’t worry, they have a pub.
Gardner is still riding the wave of his 2013 debut LP, Cabinet of Curiosities, and this show will be his first stop in the city since its February release. He seems to be making up for lost time, as its also one of two gigs he’s playing in San Francisco this week. He’ll be joining Allah-Las at The Chapel on October 5th before completing a full North American tour and then heading overseas for a European excursion.
