In the midst of a North American tour, Phono del Sol alums Unknown Mortal Orchestra are coming through San Francisco for one night only at The Fillmore as part of the venue’s Fall at the Fillmore series, and we have a pair of tickets to give away to what should be an evening of psychedelic glory, as the Portland- and Auckland-based band will be joined by Jackson Scott. Following on the heels of their magnificant sophomore effort II, UMO will release a new EP, an acoustic adventure entitled Blue Record, out October 29 via Jagjaguwar. The album includes three unplugged versions of II tracks, as well as two covers, including the band’s take on Dirty Projectors’ “Swing Lo Magellan”, which you can hear below.
To enter for a chance to win tickets to see Unknown Mortal Orchestra and Jackson Scott at The Fillmore, email contest@thebaybridged.com with “UMO” in the subject line and your full name and email address in the body of the email. A winner will be selected at random and notified via email.
