San Francisco’s We Will Be Lions released their debut EP You Will Be Heroes earlier this year and as you may subconsciously guess from the album title, these guys are into crafting epic glam-influenced anthems. It’s no easy task, but they do it quite well. Drummer Alex Hersler tells me the track “Sunflower” best exemplifies their efforts, “crafting a sound that is unique to us, while embracing our pop influences” that they hope to build on with their full length debut, expected to be released next year.
