San Francisco got a welcome treat on Tuesday when Warpaint played their first full show in over a year. They treated the rapt crowd to four new songs, “Keep it Healthy,” “Love is to Die,” “High,” and “No Way Out.” The new material prominently featured synths and harmonized vocals. While the sound mix was a bit muddy, this four-piece female tour-de-force was unstoppable. There is so much joy, ease, and laughter when Warpaint plays live. If this is what they sound like after being off the road for a year, I can’t image what will be in store for us on the next tour after the new album release. Stay tuned.
