The Haberdash, The Bold Italic‘s celebration of men’s fashion in the City by the Bay, is back for its third installment next Tuesday night, September 24 at Great American Music Hall and, as usual, it won’t be your typical runway show. “The only men’s fashion party that matters” – which is curated by The Artful Gentleman – the Haberdash will feature experiential elements, live music from Woods and a DJ set by Peaking Lights, plus more. This year’s theme is “From Day to Night”, and TBI will have some familiar personalities strutting the catwalk in duds from the foremost local designers and boutiques. And guess what? We’ve got two pairs of tickets to give away to this unique intersection of fashion and music at one of San Francisco’s finest venues.
To enter for a chance to win a pair of tickets to The Haberdash presented by The Bold Italic, send an email to contest@thebaybridged.com with “The Haberdash” in the subject line and your full name and email address in the body of the email. The contest closes on Monday, September 23 at 12pm. Two winners will be chosen at random and notified via email.
The evening’s musical accompaniment should be very familiar. Brooklyn psych folkies Woods (whose frontman Jeremy Earl founded the record label Woodsist) are swinging through Great American for TBI’s fashion celebration, as the band continues its run up the West Coast that includes shows at The Chapel, Santa Cruz’ Catalyst, and the Henry Miller Memorial Library in Big Sur (for Woodsist Festival, natch). The Haberdash will also feature a special DJ set by Los Angeles-based duo Peaking Lights. Check out Woods’ performance of “Size Meets the Sound” (off last year’s Bend Beyond) from Pitchfork Music Festival 2013, along with full details on The Haberdash, below.
