Wrong Words

San Francisco’s The Wrong Words are set to release their sophomore studio record Everything Is Free on September 17 via Chicago’s Trouble In Mind Records, and today we are happy to be premiering the video for the album’s latest single “I Don’t Have A Heart” right here on The Bay Bridged. The video – which was directed by Berkeley-based Chris Anderson and Lily Chou – features the trio embarking on day at home together, replete with Fruity Pebbles with coffee instead of milk, Jazzercise, a game of Twister, and finding an abandoned “baby” on their doorstep. The track itself is another blast of power garage pop, taking cues from the usual suspects of yesteryear and rolling with the same distinctive melodies and hooks that were prevalent on the band’s 2011 self-titled debut. Watch “I Don’t Have A Heart” below:

The Wrong Words play legendary New Jersey college radio station WFMU today, and then kick off an 11-date tour of the Midwest and a handful of East Coast cities tomorrow night. See the full slate of tour dates below.
