Saturday night’s bill at The Fillmore features a double dose of Torontonian electronic music acts, with Austra and DIANA stopping in town as part of their joint tour of States in support of a pair of new albums. Austra released their sophomore effort Olympia on June 18 via London-based label Domino Record Co., while DIANA dropped their debut full-length Perpetual Surrender August 20 on Jagjaguwar. Both records are chock full o’ infectious beats and vocals that combine to create lush electronic soundscapes sure send a wave of emotion and energy through the Saturday crowd at the City’s most famous venue.
