Push the Feeling 9/7/13

Push The Feeling is back at Underground SF this Saturday with live performances from local favorites Exray’s and Yalls, plus DJ sets from YR SKULL and epicsauce.

San Francisco duo Exray’s have been working on a unique project called Vessel XII, an experimental audio-video endeavor with a sci-fi angle (stay up to date with their Tumblr), and their Trust a Robot LP was released last year. Exray’s also did a cover of “Invisible Forces” by The Fresh & Onlys, which you can hear below.

Berkeley powerhouse Dan Casey will return to Push The Feeling as Yalls, his electronic-pop alter ego, while his lo-fi eponymous solo project has been making the rounds from NPR to KQED. Following The Voice (below), Yalls is preparing for a proper full-length release on Gold Robot Records.

This all-local dance party is free before 10pm with RSVP, and $6 after. If you happen to hit up the Lower Haight a little earlier, Professional Fans are hosting a free pop up show with Avalon Emerson, Glenn Jackson, and CoolGreg at Vinyl Dreams from 4 to 8pm (more on that show tomorrow).
