Professional Fans are stepping it up in the next week, starting off with two consecutive showcases this weekend. The She’s will perform with The Tambo Rays and Website at Neck of the Woods on Saturday, while Pro Fan favorites Seatraffic and Running in the Fog will support TV Girl at Cafe Du Nord on Sunday.

The She’s released their debut album Then It Starts to Feel Like Summer (below) in 2011, and have since worked on a new EP with Patrick Brown at Different Fur Studios in San Francisco. The West Coast garage-pop harmonies of Samantha Perez, Hannah Valente, Eva Treadway, and Sinclair Riley are sure to brighten any room.

Supporting The She’s will be two other great local acts, including The Tambo Rays, who recently premiered a summery new track called “Take Dat” right here on The Bay Bridged. Oakland post-punk outfit Website will open the showcase. Stream their “Illuminated”/”Why Ask Why” EP below.

LA indie-pop duo TV Girl will headline the showcase at Cafe Du Nord on Sunday night. Stream their most recent release Lonely Women (out since June) below. “She Smokes In Bed” features vocals from Mat Cothran (Coma Cinema, Elvis Depressedly) and Rachel Levy (R.L. Kelly, Kiss Kiss Fantastic).

Meanwhile, TV Girl’s supporting acts recently crossed paths, with Running in the Fog remixing Seatraffic’s “Conscious Awake” – stream the track below.

RSVP for Showcase 009 on Facebook. Next up for Pro Fans is yet another showcase (number ten!) next Wednesday upstairs at DNA Lounge, and then their second pop-up show on Saturday, September 7 at Vinyl Dreams
