The Tambo Rays‘ summer of fun continues with a new single “Take Dat”, and we are proud to premiere the track here at The Bay Bridged. “Take Dat” – which the band premiered live at the Hemlock back in February – features band member Sara DaMert (aka Sara Sonic) stepping out from behind her usual spot on keyboards and taking over vocal duties with a Blondie-esque, hip-hop-influenced sneer that provides just the right contrast to the clean sound of yet another DaMert sibling-crafted pop gem.
