Lemme Adams is a San Francisco-based outfit that weaves together sunny surf rock, grungy garage rock and unexpected elements of funk. Led by Jesse Lemme Adams, musician, humanitarian and dentist-in-training (according to this brief history of Lemme Adams), the group released its debut album, Just like Music, early in 2012 and is ready to drop its sophomore LP, Gorilla Back. These guys and gal love California and Hawaiian shirts, so if you’re feeling like a beach party, head to Bottom of the Hill on Thursday, August 22nd, to catch them playing their record release show along with two of the city’s burgeoning rock and roll bands, Cool Ghouls and Black Cobra Vipers.
