Hey you. Yeah, you. How much do you love indie pop? (you’re reading The Bay Bridged, so I’m going to assume your answer is somewhere around ‘a lot’.) Second question: How much do you love free stuff? (You’re a human, so again I’m going to guess ‘a lot’.) Last question: What are you doing Friday night?

SF’s Sunrunners and Father President are joining forces with San Jose’s Curious Quail (who have done a little bit of downsizing recently, but will be no less busy in the coming months) at Bottom of the Hill this Friday. A full lineup of upbeat, super-danceable bands means you can’t really go wrong entering this contest. For ten bucks, you might even want to just buy yourself tickets. But if you’re feeling lucky, check out the details below.

To enter this contest, submit an email to jody.amable

[at] with your full name in the body and ‘Quail Runs for President’ in the subject line. Winner will be chosen at random and will be awarded one pair of tickets.

Friday, August 23rd
