Earlier this week, Spin premiered a brand new track from Oakland’s Meat Market, “Too Tired”, which will be on an upcoming 7-inch released by Suicide Squeeze (the same label that released Antwon‘s “Dying in the Pussy”). The furious two minutes of rock in “Too Tired” are highlighted by a pair of blistering guitar solos, the first from Jeffrey Cheung and the second from Ian Tatum. Meat Market’s debut album was so much fun, and it sounds like they’re only getting better. The four-piece will play a few shows down south over the next couple of weeks, including a show in Tijuana organized by Lo Pie. Their next big show in the Bay will be August 29 at the Bottom of the Hill with FIDLAR. It’s sure to be plenty loud and rowdy, if you’re into that sort of thing.
