Before heading out on a month-long European tour in early July, Warm Soda quietly released a new 7-inch with two brand new tracks via Italian label Goodbye Boozy Records. The vinyl, which was a limited edition of 300 copies split between two different covers, featured an a-side “Tell Me In A Whisper” that is the perfect lo-fi pop song that Matthew Melton and company are becoming quite adept at penning. The b-side “This Changes Everything” takes a serious cue from Is This It-era material from The Strokes, with the frontman singing in his best blasé sneer over a pepped-up mish-mash of clashing garage-pop guitars and drums.
