El-P & Killer Mike

Atlanta native Killer Mike has made a career out of saying things most mainstream musicians, across all genres, have cautiously approached but have been afraid to put in such plain terms for the last several decades. Last year, he teamed up with El-P to produce R.A.P. Music, one of 2012’s most critically acclaimed records, noted not only for Killer Mike’s potent-slash-poignant lyricism but his pure skill in delivery, to say nothing of El’s production. Having just released (for free, we might add) their second joint record Run the Jewels, they’re bringing their whole acerbic, tongue-not-entirely-in-cheek show to San Francisco.

By the time you read this, El-P and Killer Mike will have already completed one sold-out show at the Indy. Lucky for you, we’ve got your in for round two tonight.

To win a pair of tickets to tonight’s show, be the first person to email contest@thebaybridged.com with “Killer Mike” in the email subject line and your full name and email address in the body of the email. The winner will be notified by email.

Check out the incendiary “Reagan” from last year’s R.A.P. Music below.
