We may be a little biased, but it felt like there was a certain magic in air during the 2013 Phono del Sol Music & Food Festival. The festival was a resounding success, drawing over four thousand people to Potrero del Sol Park for a day of amazing music and food capped by stellar sets from Thee Oh Sees and YACHT.
Words simply cannot describe how grateful we feel to everyone who helped make this festival happen, but here goes nothing: Thank you to all twelve bands for great performances and to all eight food trucks for serving tasty fare. Thank you to all of our generous sponsors and partners for supporting this event. Thank you to JK Sound for making everything sound awesome all day long. Thank you to Lagunitas and Tap Wine Systems for your tasty libations, and to our bartenders for your tireless service. Thank you to the terrific work of festival DJ Aaron Axelsen and our host Anna Seregina. Thank you to all of the arts and crafts vendors who showcased their wares at the festival. Thank you to Supervisors Malia Cohen and David Campos for attending the festival. Thank you to all of the Bay Bridged and Tiny Telephone staff and volunteers for doing all of the everything to make this festival happen. Finally, thank you to all of you who attended — we hope you had as much fun as we did!
Here are some early photos from Paige K. Parsons and Tanner Pikop. We’ll be posting even more content from the festival on TheBayBridged.com soon.
