The Mantles continue to release a steady stream of tracks off their forthcoming sophomore LP Long Enough to Leave, out June 18 Slumberland, this time dropping the laid back slow burner “Shadow of Your Step”. Following “Brown Balloon” and “Hello”, “Shadow of Your Step” dials the tempo way down, shimmering in the light for four serene minutes of entrancing garage pop beauty. The track premiered Monday on Stereogum (which inexplicably reported that the track was the first release off Long Enough to Leave), but you can listen below.
