For Bay Area folks, the name ‘Sea Wolf’ might call to mind a Jack London classic, a rugged high-seas adventure that takes place off the shores of San Francisco at the turn of the century. That’s why it’s strangely appropriate that Sea Wolf, the LA indie band that got their start around the turn of this century, is appearing at Great American Music Hall, a crimson-walled remnant of the Barbary Coast days during which London thrived.
