Flip your crosses and triangles upside down, oOoOO is back for another round. In the wake of two decreasingly dark EPs, San Francisco-based electronic musician Chris Dexter (the man behind oOoOO) is finally releasing his full-length debut this summer. Lucky for us, Future|Perfect is throwing an album preview party this Saturday, May 4 at Public Works. Groundislava, DJ Dials, and Marco de la Vega will round out the bill.

The album, titled Without Your Love, is set for a June 24 release on Dexter’s new label Nihjgt Feelings. Stream the LP’s first single “Stay Here” below, featuring the vocals of M.L.

oOoOO’s live sets often reinforce the “just push play” stereotype of electronic artists, as Dexter has been known to step back and smoke cigarettes or even disappear backstage while his ghostly beats permeate the club. Future|Perfect says oOoOO will be previewing his new album in full, and while we get that the man is “mysterious,” hopefully he’ll try to stay present with his fans while performing at Saturday’s event.

Groundislava, on the other hand, typically engages his audience with friendly banter and active live manipulations. Unconfirmed sources promise $4 Heinekens and Strongbow cider before 11pm.
