Thee Oh Sees released their music video for “Minotaur,” the first single off of the forthcoming album Floating Coffin, due to be released on April 16, and the low-budget piece is an interesting visual to go along with the slinky song. With less than charming knights playing the heroes and a half-human, half-beast playing the misunderstood captor who unenthusiastically clocks into his job of kidnapping a damsel, the video gets the point across that many people work jobs they hate and then die and then that’s it. It’s a solemn message, but John Dwyer offers a remedy to this tragic fate: “There ain’t no cure but to stay, stay home today go to the beach instead.”
