Oakland’s own Legs recently offered a fuzzed out, hazy, and colorfully psychedelic video for “Two Colours.” The video showcases babe-ly Amelia Adams, who contributes vocals alongside Jeffrey Harland; Harland and New Zealand native Matt Bullimore are the original members of Legs, who have watched their band grow from two to five members.
In “Two Colours,” one minute you’re watching Adams sing forlorn lyrics, and the next, a burst of confetti explodes behind her and the rest of Legs emerges, ripping through the song. “Two Colours” starts with a heavy bang, but simmers and fades slowly into a mellow groove of jangly garage pop. The added softness of Adams’ voice is slightly haunting, but still full of grace.
“Two Colours” is the first single off of Pass the Ringo, which will be released on Loglady Records on April 23.
