Down and Outlaws have had a solid year so far, and they’ve only just begun to make their mark on San Francisco’s rock and roll landscape. Fresh off of the release of their debut EP Backwards From the Dead, the band earned a month-long residency at Milk Bar, where only two months ago they played their first show of 2013 as the openers of a four-band bill.

Mac Walker Presents Down and Outlaws Residency kicked off last Wednesday, April 3rd, and the show was a rad way to cut the week in half with whiskey drink deals and some dirty blues rock. The Outlaws are returning to the Haight Street staple on the 10th and 24th of April along with some of the Bay Area’s finest, including the eight-piece folk outfit The Sam Chase and soul-drenched rock band The Reckless Kind. If you’re craving some moodier tunes, or looking for an excuse to drink on a Wednesday night, find out where to RSVP for FREE entry over at the Facebook event page, and listen to the entire Backwards From the Dead EP on the Down and Outlaws’ bandcamp to hear what kind of trouble you’re in for.
