About the bands:
Late last year, Golden Void released a self-titled psych rock behemoth that quickly became one of our favorite records of 2012. That the SF quartet includes members of Earthless, Assemble Head in Sunburst Sound and Roots of Orchis confirms the preexisting musical talents, but the band’s heavy, heady sound is all its own.
Wild Moth‘s unique mix of punk and post-punk brought a noisy/melodic/dark urgency to last year’s superb Mourning Glow EP. They’ve played alongside bands ranging from A Place to Bury Strangers to Royal Headache, and we’re excited to have them join us for this show.
A local trio informed by both ’90s alt jams and the density of industrial and shoegaze, DSTVV plays songs stuffed with riffs and warped melodies. Their debut, the Molly Soda EP, has won DSTVV a wealth of praise.
